Botanical
gardens (in Latin hortus botanicus) is a natural environment
artificially created which gathers together a large variety of
plants
characterised for scientific purposes and for the education of
visitors.
PERBACCO has recreated an environment of flowers and autochthonic
plants.
Guided tours are organised in the woods and glassland of Monte
Nerone to
look for medicinal and autochthonic plants.
The herbarium of 282 plants from the Marche since 1936 may also be
visited
upon request. It is housed in the Palazzo Ubaldini at Apecchio
at the
International Centre for Historic Geocartographical Studies.
